Mumbai, Jan. 14 -- The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the upcoming Hindi film 'Rahu Ketu' with a U/A 16 certificate, subject to a series of modifications, including the replacement of a sound cue popularly associated with the film 'Kantara'.

Among the changes mandated by the Examining Committee was the replacement of drug-related visuals depicting sniffing and snorting, which were asked to be substituted with more appropriate shots throughout the film. The Board also took objection to the use of an obscene hand gesture, instructing that the raised middle finger be digitally altered to a pinky finger wherever it appeared.

All references to alcohol brand names were ordered to be removed from the film.
