Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Saturday took part in an innovation showcase in Mumbai and interacted with university researchers as part of his first official visit to India. The visit, scheduled from February 27 to March 2, is being undertaken at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his engagements in Mumbai, Carney reviewed research initiatives and academic collaborations, reflecting the focus on strengthening innovation ties between the two countries.
