Kolkata, Oct. 6 -- Carlsberg India has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) to commit investment of Rs 1,250 crore in West Bengal, Maharashtra and Karnataka for expansion of its market in India.
The MoU was signed at World Food India 2025 to reaffirm Carlsberg's long-term commitment to India through proposed investments of Rs 1,250 crore across key states, a company statement said.
The investments will significantly strengthen Carlsberg India's brewing and packaging footprint with investments of Rs 500 crore towards a new greenfield facility in Ahilyanagari, Maharashtra, Rs 400 crore for brownfield expansion in Hooghly, West Bengal, and Rs 350 crore for brownf...
