New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The Sub-Committee on the anti-pollution Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) on Wednesday noted a downward trend in the city's average Air Quality Index (AQI) and decided to revoke actions under Stage-II of the extant schedule across the entire NCR with immediate effect.

The CAQM also took note of the forecasts for meteorological conditions and the air quality index made available by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), respectively, before taking a call on the preventive and restrictive measures under Stage-II of GRAP, which had been invoked across the NCR since October 19 last ye...
