New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Wednesday revoked actions under Stage-II of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi-NCR after an improvement in air quality levels.
The Sub-Committee on the anti-pollution GRAP of the CAQM noted a downward trend in city's average Air Quality Index (AQI) and reviewed the scenario, and decided to revoke actions under stage-II of the extant schedule across entire NCR with immediate effect.
The CAQM also took note of the forecasts for meteorological conditions and air quality index made available by India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) respectively, prior taking an appropriate call. Restrictive measures un...
