Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 7 -- Cyber police have urged investors to remain vigilant against the growing number of online investment frauds being carried out in the name of reputed stock trading firm CAPITALIX.
Officials said fraudsters are circulating fake advertisements on social media platforms, promising unusually high returns. To make the schemes appear credible, they reportedly use artificial intelligence to create manipulated videos featuring prominent personalities.
Those who respond to such ads are added to WhatsApp or Telegram groups under the pretext of receiving trading lessons. They are then directed to download a CAPITALIX application from Google Play Store and open accounts on counterfeit websites such as https://trade.capit...
