Dhaka, May 14 -- Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohammed Yunus called for the modernisation of Chattogram Port, terming it the heart of the country's economy. He urged Nepal and India's Northeast states to join the port, saying it will be a win-win for all sides.
Yunus said the interim govt has taken initiatives to make the port world class by entrusting its management to global operators.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Chief Advisor made the call while speaking at the New Mooring Container Terminal of the Chattogram Port today, calling the advancement of the port "a big opportunity".
