Bengaluru, Jan. 29 -- Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh on Thursday rejected allegations of corruption raised by contractors in Karnataka, asking them to place concrete evidence in the public domain instead of making what he termed as "baseless accusations.
Responding to renewed claims by the Karnataka State Contractors' Association (KSCA) regarding alleged commissions and delays in bill clearances, the minister said the tendering and payment processes were governed by clear rules and online systems, leaving no scope for arbitrary interference.
