Bijnor, Dec. 25 -- : A major theft has been reported at the residence of an Indian Air Force personnel in Noorpur area of Bijnor district, where unidentified burglars allegedly made away with cash, gold and silver jewellery, and other valuables worth lakhs of rupees, police said on Thursday.
The incident took place in Nangli Jaju village under the Noorpur police station area of Chandpur tehsil. According to the complaint, the burglars targeted the house of Devendra Singh, whose son Shagun Chaudhary is serving in the Indian Air Force.
