New Delhi, March 18 -- A burglar who stole an induction cooktop amid the ongoing LPG shortage was held from South-West Delhi, officials said on Wednesday.
According to police, the accused was apprehended by the Anti-Burglary Cell team of the South-West District in connection with a burglary case registered at Palam Village police station. The case was lodged on March 6 following a complaint regarding theft of a laptop and other household items.
DCP South-West Amit Goel said that the accused was identified as Biki Chaudhary, a native of Kolkata, West Bengal, presently residing in Gurugram, Haryana.
