Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 29 -- The Kerala Budget for 2026-27, presented by Finance Minister KN Balagopal in the Kerala Assembly on Thursday, will further accelerate and diversify Kerala's startup ecosystem, KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said.
The budget allocated an amount of Rs 99.52 crore for taking forward the ongoing projects of Kerala Start-up mission (KSUM) and roll out new initiatives, he said.
The overall budget allocation for the IT sector has been enhanced to Rs 548.05 crore from previous year's Rs 517.27 crore.
The Finance Minister, in his budget speech, mentioned the substantial growth recorded by Kerala's startup ecosystem.
