Pune, Feb. 1 -- Noted industrialist and Kohinoor Group Chairman and Managing Director Krishnakumar Goyal said on Sunday that the union Budget is development-oriented and reflects a far-sighted roadmap for the nation's growth.
However, Goyal expressed disappointment that despite strong demands from the construction industry, the budget does not include any concrete provisions specifically for the real estate sector or for affordable housing.
Goyal observed that the budget clearly reflects the Central Government's intent to allocate substantial funds for infrastructure development, which could indirectly benefit the real estate sector.
