New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- The Budget Session of Parliament will begin on Wednesday with President Droupadi Murmu addressing a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, said, "We are hopeful for a fruitful Budget Session for a Viksit Bharat."The session will witness the presentation of the Economic Survey on January 29, offering a comprehensive review of the state of the economy, followed by the union Budget for 2026-27, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present on February 1.
