Shillong, May 7 -- In the wake of Operation Sindoor, the Border Security Force (BSF) has raised the "bar of alertness" at the India-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya sector.
"We have raised the bar of our alertness at the borders. Currently I am at the border reviewing the security arrangement. We have complete night dominance at this difficult terrain," Inspector General of BSF, Meghalaya Frontier, O P Upadhyay told UNI.
Moreover, he said that troops have been reinforced at the border to strengthen border security . most of the officers are stationed at their respective locations and are reviewing the security arrangements at the border.
