Hyderabad, March 15 -- Tandur Congress MLA B Manohar Reddy on Sunday alleged that former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy was caught consuming drugs at his farmhouse in Moinabad and demanded that BRS leaders explain the incident.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Manohar Reddy said several public representatives were present at the farmhouse party and claimed that Namit Sharma, a former MLA from Delhi, was a close associate of Pilot Rohit Reddy.
He said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was working tirelessly to make Telangana a drug-free state and had established the 'Eagle Team' to crack down on drug-related activities. The MLA alleged that during the ten-year rule of the BRS government, the state had become a hub for the drugs mafia.
