New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- : Delhi Police has arrested a man who allegedly slit his sister-in-law's throat in Rohini on Monday while disguised in women's clothing to take revenge over an ongoing family dispute, an official said.
The accused, Jai Prakash Yadav, a Najafgarh resident and teacher at a coaching centre, has been taken into custody, police said.
Investigation into this case revealed that Yadav had a longstanding disagreement with his wife and her family since April 2025, a senior police officer said.
According to the police, Yadav allegedly disguised himself in a wig and female clothing to avoid suspicion before going to the woman's workplace, a therapy centre, where he carried out the assault.
