Shahjahanpur, Sept. 19 -- A young brother and sister were crushed to death today after a combine harvester ran over them in the Shahjahanpur district. The victims were on their way to coaching classes on a motorcycle with a neighbour, who survived with minor injuries.
The incident occurred at around 8:00 am on the Chandapur-Dadarol road, just 700 metres from their home in Pancholi village. The victims, 8-year-old Kundan Mishra and his 16-year-old sister Namami Mishra, were knocked off the motorcycle when it collided with the harvester. They fell onto the side of the machine's rear wheels and were run over, while the motorcycle's driver, Hariprasad, was thrown to the opposite side and escaped serious harm.
