Los Angeles, Jan. 22 -- The Broadway adaptation of Sidney Lumet's classic crime drama 'Dog Day Afternoon' has added three new names to its growing cast, including John Ortiz, Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht and Spencer Garrett.
They joined previously announced leads Jon Bernthal and Evan Moss-Bachrach, reports Deadline.
Ortiz will play Detective Ferrara. Ortiz's TV credits include Apple TV 's Bad Monkey and HBO's Luck, and he's appeared in such films as David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook, Ridley Scott's American Gangster and Jack Goes Boating, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman, with whom he co-founded NYC's LAByrinth Theater Company.
