New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) successfully restored traffic connectivity on the strategic Ghalar-Sansari axis in less than 14 hours following the sudden collapse of a Bailey Bridge in Kishtwar district caused by an overloaded dumper.
In a statement issued here the BRO spokesperson stated that the affected bridge on the Ghalar-Sansari road is a critical strategic corridor linking the Chenab Valley with Himachal Pradesh and acts as the only all-weather lifeline for several remote and snowbound areas of Kishtwar during the winter months.
