Nagpur, Feb. 24 -- A British Airways aircraft from London bound for Hyderabad made an emergency landing at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur on Tuesday after a technical malfunction was detected mid-flight, airport officials said.

The long-haul Boeing 787 flight reported a minor technical glitch around 12:00 PM, prompting the pilots to seek permission for an immediate landing at the nearest suitable airport.

Authorities at Nagpur airport activated emergency response protocols, deploying fire, medical and security teams as a precaution.

The aircraft landed safely without incident and all passengers and crew members were reported safe. There were no injuries.
