New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- Brazil has expressed its intention to establish cooperation with India for the production of medicines and vaccines.
Brazilian Health Minister, Alexandre Padilha, who is accompanying President Lula da Silva on his State visit to India, met union Health Minister J P Nadda here on Wednesday. He said the proposed partnership includes public institutions and companies from both countries for the production of cancer drugs and also medicines to combat tropical diseases.
Padilha also met Prataprao Jadhav (Traditional Medicine), expressing his government's intention to expand cooperation regarding free access to health services for the people.
