New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva arrived here this afternoon on a five-day State visit to India during which he will participate in the ongoing AI Summit and hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on strengthening the India-Brazil Strategic Partnership, focusing on Defence, trade, energy, agriculture and health.

President Lula was received at the airport by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita.

On his arrival, President Lula said he had arrived in India with an important agenda: to strengthen ties, deepen partnerships, and discuss the future of artificial intelligence in the world.
