Kochi, May 8 -- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has reaffirmed its commitment to the strategically significant Mozambique LNG project, highlighting its role in strengthening global energy supply and supporting India's long-term energy security goals.
BPCL, through Bharat PetroResources Limited (BPRL), holds a 10 per cent participating interest in the Offshore Area 1 Concession in Mozambique, operated by TotalEnergies. Other Indian partners in the consortium include ONGC Videsh Limited and Oil India Limited.
Following the lifting of force majeure in November 2025, large-scale remobilisation activities are underway at the project site, with more than 6,000 personnel currently deployed. The project has achieved around 42 per cent...
