Siliguri, Dec. 29 -- Hoteliers across several districts of North Bengal have increasingly been closing their doors to Bangladeshi visitors. Following Malda, Cooch Behar, and Siliguri, hoteliers in South Dinajpur have now decided to boycott travellers from the neighbouring country.

The move is being described as a protest against alleged atrocities on minorities, particularly Hindus, in Bangladesh, linked to the killing of Dipu Chandra Das.

Hoteliers in South Dinajpur have announced that Bangladeshi nationals will not be accommodated, regardless of whether they are visiting for medical treatment or other purposes.
