Chennai, Aug. 25 -- A prime property that late actor Sridevi had purchased on the East Coast Road near Chennai is in dispute now with three individuals claiming ownership, forcing her husband and renowned Bollywood film producer Boney Kapoor to move the Madras High Court seeking to cancel the 'fraudulent heirship certificate' the trio had acquired.
The late actor had bought the property with a farmhouse on the (ECR), abutting the coastline, way back in 1998. She passed away in 2018.
Passing orders on the writ petition filed by Kapoor, Justice N Anand Venkatesh has directed the Tahsildar, Tambaram Taluk, to decide within four weeks on the representation made by the petitioner to cancel the 'fraudulent' legal heirship certificate issued in ...
