Patna, Feb. 5 -- Bihar assembly speaker Prem Kumar on Thursday said that Bodhgaya corridor would be constructed on the pattern of Ujjain and Kashi corridors.

Intervening into the reply of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha to a starred question from Kumar Saravjit during the pre-lunch sitting of the house, Kumar said that the corridor has been proposed to be built in Bodhgaya on the pattern of Ujjain and Kashi corridors. He said that Bodhgaya and Gaya are sacred places for the Buddhists and Hindus. He said that a committee has been constituted for the construction of the same.
