BNP's student wing demands removal of National Curriculum & Textbook Board heads, calls them 'fascist allies' of Hasina

Dhaka, April 27 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party's (BNP) student wing, the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), has sharply criticised the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) -- Bangladesh's top authority on developing school curriculum and textbooks, accusing it of wilfully ignoring the July 2024 Uprising that led to the ouster of PM Sheikh Hasina, in school curricula.

The JCD has demanded the immediate removal of NCTB Chairman Rabiul Kabir Chowdhury and Textbook Member Riad Chowdhury, branding them "fascist allies" of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
