Kochi, May 13 -- India's leading marine experts provided insights into the role of fisheries in the blue economy at a 5-day national training for young researchers at ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) here on Tuesday.
Organised jointly by the CMFRI and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), the training titled 'Advancing India's Blue Economy: Role of Fisheries Sector' aims to equip participants with cutting edge knowledge and scientific practices for the sustainable utilisation of marine resources.
