Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telangana, on Tuesday welcomed the party's National President Nitin Nabin on his first visit to the state after assuming charge. BJP leaders said the visit comes at a crucial time as the party steps up its campaign for the forthcoming municipal elections.

In a press statement, Telangana BJP President N Ramchander Rao said Nitin Nabin's visit would energise party cadre, strengthen organisational resolve, and sharpen the BJP's grassroots connect across Telangana. He said the visit marks an important milestone for the party's state unit.
