Shimla, Jan. 11 -- BJP state President Rajeev Bindal welcomed the Himachal Pradesh High Court's verdict on Panchayati Raj elections, stating that the decision was in the larger interest of the people and reinforced constitutional values and grassroots democracy in the state.
"The verdict had been widely welcomed across Himachal Pradesh, particularly in rural areas, as it ensured the timely conduct of Panchayati Raj elections and strengthened the democratic process at the grassroots level," said Bindal here on Sunday.
