Hyderabad, May 6 -- A delegation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Rajya Sabha MP Dr K. Laxman, National President of the BJP OBC Morcha, called on Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday, urging immediate action to identify and deport Pakistani nationals allegedly residing illegally in the state.
The delegation submitted a detailed memorandum citing serious national security concerns in the aftermath of the April 22 terrorist attack in Jammu & Kashmir's Pahalgam region, in which 26 civilians lost their lives.
The memorandum alleged that the attack was orchestrated by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and supported by the Pakistani Army.
