Chandigarh, April 24 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing the saffron party of orchestrating a systematic campaign to undermine his government and intimidate regional forces.

Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister alleged that the BJP's hostility towards the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) escalated significantly after his government enacted stringent laws to combat 'beadbi' (sacrilege).

Mann asserted that the BJP is unable to digest the decisive actions taken on issues deeply tied to Punjab's sentiments and has resorted to using central agencies like the ED and CBI to weaken his corruption-free administration.
