Bengaluru, Feb. 4 -- BJP legislators on Wednesday said they would continue their overnight dharna inside the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, demanding the resignation of Excise Minister RB Thimmapur over the alleged liquor scam and corruption in the Excise Department.
The protest, which began on Tuesday, continued through the night with BJP MLAs staying inside the Vidhana Soudha. The legislators slept on the floor of the opposition lounge and were seen attending to their morning routine today, including folding their bedding. As part of the agitation, BJP legislators also sang kirtans inside the Assembly throughout the night.
