Dharamshala, May 11 -- Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur, today alleged that development in Dharamshala had come to a standstill after BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma became the representative of the constituency, accusing the Congress government of pursuing "vindictive politics".
Addressing BJP workers' convention at Dari in the outskirts of this hill town during the campaign for the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation elections, the former Chief Minister claimed the people were fed up with the Congress government's "anti-people policies, false promises and administrative failures".
He appealed voters to ensure BJP's victory in all 17 wards, claiming that only a BJP-led Municipal Corporation could ensure "true and modern...
