Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana BJP strongly condemned the sale of 400 acres of land within the Hyderabad Central University (HCU) campus and the arrest of BJYM leaders and activists who staged a protest at the Assembly against the Congress government's actions.

Speaking to the media at the state party office in Nampally on Tuesday, State Party General Secretary Kasam Venkateswarlu criticised the Revanth Reddy government for attempting to sell university land instead of exploring alternative solutions to address the state's financial crisis.

He accused the Congress government of betraying the people and jeopardizing the future of students by planning to sell HCU lands worth Rs 10 thousand crores.
