Bengaluru, Jan. 20 -- Political rivalry in Karnataka witnessed a sharp escalation on Tuesday after BJP state chief spokesperson Ashwath Narayan directly linked the controversy surrounding senior IPS officer Ramchandra Rao to what he termed the complete collapse of the Home Department under the present government. He demanded the Home minister G Parameshwara's immediate removal.
Referring to the viral visuals allegedly involving Ramchandra Rao in uniform with a woman inside an office, Ashwath Narayan said the incident has exposed the Home Minister's total loss of control over the police department.
