Thiruvananthapuram, March 16 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its first list of 47 candidates for the upcoming 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election, fielding several prominent leaders as the party steps up preparations to expand its presence in the state.
According to the list approved by the party leadership, Rajeev Chandrasekhar has been nominated from Nemom, a constituency considered crucial for the party. Former union Minister V. Muraleedharan will contest from Kazhakoottam, while Minister of state in the union government, George Kurian has been fielded from Kanjirappally.
