Dumka, Feb. 19 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey on Thursday alleged that Jharkhand's financial condition is deteriorating, leading to a halt in several state-sponsored development schemes.

Addressing a press conference in Dumka, Dubey claimed that the state's ambitious Maiya Samman Yojana and other welfare initiatives could face discontinuation due to the fragile economic situation. He remarked that the crisis is so severe that even the salary of the Chief Minister could be affected in the coming months.
