New Delhi, Jan. 9 -- BJP MLA from Malviya Nagar, Satish Upadhyay, raised the issue of contaminated water supply on day five of the Delhi Assembly's Winter Session on Friday.

Addressing the Assembly, Upadhyay raised the issue under rule 280 and said that residents of B-3 Block in Malviya Nagar have been receiving contaminated water for the past two and a half years following metro construction work in the area. He alleged that despite repeated complaints, the problem has remained unresolved from the previous government till the present.

The BJP legislator further informed the House that several areas, including Adchini village, Arjun Nagar, Masjid Moth, Begumpur, Khirki Gaon and Hauz Rani are facing similar issues of contaminated water sup...
