Bengaluru, Feb. 20 -- Following the stone-pelting incident during a Shivaji Jayanti procession in Bagalkote, the Opposition has mounted a sharp attack on Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, accusing him of pursuing a "My Brothers' Policy" that allegedly favours minorities at the cost of Hindus.

Chief Whip of the Opposition in the Legislative Council N Ravikumar alleged that when a procession carrying the portrait of Shivaji Maharaj passed near a mosque in Bagalkote, stones were thrown at participants.
