Jaipur, Feb. 2 -- Senior BJP leader and former Rajasthan Minister Hem Singh Bhadana passed away at a hospital in Alwar on Monday morning.
Bhadana, 59, was suffering from cancer for the past some months. His condition suddenly deteriorated this morning. He was rushed to a private hospital in Alwar where doctors declared him dead after check up in the Emergency ward.
Later, he was cremated at his native village Bhageri Kalan in Kishangarhbas region of Alwar this afternoon.
Bhadana had won for BJP the Thanagazi assembly seat of Alwar district twice in 2008 and 2013.
In his second term as MLA he was inducted in the then Vasundhara Raje Council of Ministers, as Minister of State. Later, he was promoted as cabinet minister.
