Fatehpur, Feb. 20 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has questioned the claims by the Uttar Pradesh government on new investments, asking why these investments are not translating into jobs as the state has one of the highest unemployment rates.
"If investment had come, jobs would have been visible on the ground. Even the statistics do not reflect employment, whereas the data shows that the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of crimes against women, highest unemployment rate, highest number of cyber crimes," he alleged.
