Lucknow, Nov. 27 -- Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav today hit out at the BJP, saying that while the party is celebrating Constitution Day, on the other hand they want to take away the right to vote through SIR.
"Conspiracy has been hatched through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to strike down over millions voters in UP," he alleged, while claiming that several million voters will be denied voting rights in West Bengal.
Talking to media here on Wednesday after watching the film "120 Bahadur" in a multiplex, Yadav said the way SIR is being conducted clearly shows the "vindictive attitude" of the ECI.
