Lucknow, May 4 -- With BJP achieving its dream to form the government in West Bengal for the first time and repeating in Assam and Puducherry, party leaders and workers are celebrating the occassion across Uttar Pradesh.
The ruling BJP activists celebrated in a big way in Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj and Jhansi, where they bursted firecrackers, distributed sweets, sprayed saffron colours and danced.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak arrived at the BJP office in Lucknow. They both had 'jhalmuri'.
