Chandigarh, April 22 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its mayoral candidates for three major municipal corporations in Haryana, setting the stage for a high-stakes electoral battle against the Congress party and the Aam Aadmi Party.

The saffron party has fielded Shyam Lal Bansal for Panchkula, Rajiv Jain for Sonipat, and Akshita Saini for the Ambala municipal corporation.
