Bhubaneswar, Feb. 23 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has strongly criticised the Odisha government's decision to introduce the sale of liquor in tetra packs, calling the move "unethical" and "anti-youth." The party has demanded that the decision be withdrawn immediately, alleging that it contradicts earlier promises made by the ruling dispensation.

The reaction from the opposition came after Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan announced that liquor would soon be sold in tetra packs instead of traditional glass bottles.
