Bhubaneswar, July 29 -- The Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today demanded an unconditional public apology from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for allegedly posting photographs of the Ratna Bhandar of the Shree Jagannath Temple on social media.

BJD spokesperson Dr. Lenin Mohanty strongly condemned the act and called for the immediate suspension of the ASI officer responsible for what he described as a "grave mistake."

He further urged the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration and the State Law Minister to issue a clarification on the matter.
