Nellore, Nov. 22 -- BirlaNu (formerly HIL Ltd), part of the multi-billion-dollar CKA Birla Group and a leading home and building products company, today announced the establishment of a new Fibre Cement Board Plant in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
In Phase 1, BirlaNu will invest around Rs.127 crore to set up a large-scale Fibre Cement Board unit, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh, creating nearly 600 direct and indirect employment opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled talent in the region, the company said in a release here.
In Phase 2, BirlaNu plans to expand the site with additional units for PVC Pipes & Fittings and Construction Chemicals, deepening the company's integrated manufacturing capabilities in Andhra Pradesh....
