Imphal, Feb. 22 -- Manipur MP, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam appealed to Union Health & Family Welfare Minister, J.P. Nadda to enable candidates from Manipur appearing for the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2024, scheduled from February 26 to 28, 2025 to appear in Manipur.
Bimol said the candidates from Manipur, had opted for Imphal as their preferred examination centre, however they were assigned centres outside the state. Given the prevailing situation in Manipur, including economic hardships and restricted accessibility many of these candidates, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, are unable to afford air travel.
