Washington, Feb. 7 -- Television presenter Bill Nye will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) at the 4th Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards next month, Variety reported.

Nye is receiving recognition for his work as a science educator, engineer, television presenter, inventor, and New York Times bestselling author. His television credits include the iconic Bill Nye the Science Guy, among other shows.
